Brain Research & Multiple Intelligences Links & Resources

Surfaquarium is a site with links for Multiple Intelligences, innovative teaching, homework help, creative classroom consulting, and more.  It could be a good resource for teachers, students, and parents.

New Horizons for Learning has a page called the Brain Lab at - http://www.newhorizons.org/blab.html

An alphabetical listing of the resources at the Brain Lab may be found at http://www.newhorizons.org/title.html

You can get to the November edition of Educational Leadership online (focusing on how the brain learns) at http://odie.ascd.org/pubs/el/nov98/exttoc.html

For information on the chemistry of the brain, there is a page some of my students used last year in preparing a project.  It is called Jane's Brain Page and is at http://www.maui.net/~jms/brainuse.html

For information about nutrition and the brain (not a bad site for an educator to know about, too), there is The Brain Book at http://www.nutramed.com/zeno/brain.htm#organization
