Essentials of Music

This site is a valuable reference for middle school through adult age students of music.  It is maintained by Sony Music and the W.W. Norton & Company.  The site goes a step beyond the textbook, though, with clickable audio links accompanying many of its entries.

The Film Vault

This site has reviews about current movies and archives of reviews and information about movies from years gone by. It also features links to more information about the stars, producers, and directors. This site includes some audio and video clips for your enjoyment, too!

The Music Education Center

This page has links by instrument and musical genre to information of interest to music educators.

Paramount Pictures

Obviously, this is the link to Paramount Pictures and information about their productions. The site has won awards for its great design and quality information.

GRP Records

This is the homepage for a record company with information about the many musical projects they currently are offering on CD. It is also an award-winning attractive site.

Music Education Online

The homepage entitled Music Education Online provides links to many resources on the worldwide web. This site lets you register with your email address, participate in question and answer forums, etc.

 

Johann Sebastian Bach

What would the web be without the J. S. Bach home page. This is a site maintained just for the fun of it by a "computer geek" who believes there wasn't nearly enough information on the internet about the great J. S. Bach.

 

All About Bands

Lots of links related to popular music have been established on the Web. One with information about every band ever is given here.
