  • Seventysix percent of the male students reported being the target.
  • Thirty percent report being the harasser.  (USA Today, 1994)
  • One third report feeling less confident or less sure of themselves as a result.  (AAUW, 1993)
The vast majority of cases involve student to students harassment, but cases of perceived adult to student harassment were also commonly reported.
