These are some of the specific items the courts have considered as sexual harassment:
  • vulgar name calling
  • teasing about genetalia
  • including victim on a list that indicates promiscuity
  • sexually explicit name calling
  • taunts about breasts
  • pinching in the chest, groin, or buttock areas
  • Holding someone down and kissing him or her
  • Making sexually suggestive comments
  • engaging in inappropriate touching

The AAUW added some specific examples including making sexual comments, jokes, gestures, or looks in their report of 1993.
