Session 2 - Using Web Authoring ToolsIn session 2, we will open the world of What You See is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editors. Services such as Homestead.com provide simple authoring tools. A powerful free tool has been available in the past from Microsoft as an add-on to Internet Explorer (FrontPage Express) and Netscape Communicator continues to provided a simple, free web authoring tool. For this course, we will use a widely-available tool in Blue Valley - FrontPage 2000. It has been standard as part of the software package purchased along with all new computers since Summer of 1999. Upgrades to Office 2000 are the recommended path for other Blue Valley staff to bring their PC computers up to date. Session outline
