  • basic HTML  (HyperText Markup Language)

  • authoring tools  (FrontPage 2000/ Express)

  • making pages that link

  • graphics and sound on pages

Expectations:  

For a grade of "B"

For a grade of "A"

  1. Identify three exemplary sites on the WWW that may serve as models for page designers.  Include on a personal web page.

  2. Demonstrate understanding of the basic elements of an Internet URL.

  3. Create one or more pages that may serve as educational resources.

  4. Use simple HTML to create and edit a web page.

  5. Use a web-authoring tool to create or edit a web page.

  6. Complete the quizzes to for each session.  Redo quizzes until scores are 80% or above.

  1. Complete the requirements for the grade of "B" as stated at left and...
  2. Create an additional project. This may be additional related pages to integrate with the primary page or design a unit around a web page for student use or with student-created elements. Check with the instructor about alternative ideas for an "A" project.
